Located in the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains, the Ourika Valley is an ideal day trip for nature lovers or whoever wants to take a break from the city.As we leave Marrakech behind, the landscape becomes greener and a beautiful drive of about 50 kilometres will take you to this valley, with its olive groves, orchards, agricultural fields, amazing mountain scenery and of course the Ourika river.We will drive through charming villages and you will have the opportunity to experience traditional Berber way of life as we stop at a local family where you will enjoy fresh mint tea and visit a Berber museum.On Mondays only, it is also possible to visit a typical Berber market.We will finally reach Setti Fatma, the last village accessible by road and the starting point for hiking trips in the Atlas Mountains. You will finally enjoy an authentic Moroccan lunch on the banks of the river and after that we will drive back to Marrakech
